"This 19,000 square foot tenant finish out was for the relocation of the corporate headquarters of television station KUVN-23, the local affiliate for Univision. The plan called for a news room, broadcast room, recording rooms, offices and reception.
A floor plan was designed and construction efforts coordinated to make sure the layout provided easy access to all employees. Marcela Abadi Rhoads, AIA designed the project and helped during construction while working at Aguirre Associates in Dallas, Texas."
"To design a bus shelter which is consistent with the Landscape of Austin. Austin is full of trees and has a beautiful national landscape. The bus shelter's aim was to act as a tree that one would sit under and wait for a bus."
"A supermarket / cooking school that aims to teach kids about healthy living in an informative yet enjoyable environment. The marketplace had a commercial kitchen which supplied healthy pre-prepared foods to sell at the retail area.

A 4,400 square foot Interior finish out of an existing shell space located at Legacy Ranch in Frisco Texas. The concept for this space was to create a Spa and a café with the feel of being in a Caribbean beach. We used bright and airy finishes, such as glass tile walls, fabric panels in the ceilings, and translucent solid surface for the counters. We helped to select the finishes, furniture and equipment for both the spa and the restaurant. This project is due to open Fall of 2005.
"A two story addition to an existing synagogue. The young Israel synagogue needed a new sanctuary to house its large growing base of worshippers, especially for high holy days.
The new sanctuary was equipped with tall ceilings and stained glass windows as well as a second floor for women congregants, and rooms for temporary lodging and classrooms. Exterior design was made of stone and stucco."
The Ohev Shalom synagogue needed a remodeled floorplan which would update the sanctuaey and would attract new congregates. Abadi Architecture designed that floorplan with graphical 3D imaging to give a clean and modern appearance.
The Frisco Bar was renovated by Abadi Architecture with a new modern serving area, tables, and restroom area. This provided an uptown hangout environment to attract numerous customers.
This was a project that was presented to the Allen City Council to include it in the bond package. The 11,800 square foot building combines many activities under one roof. The building is composed of three parts: The activity area, learning area and the common area. Abadi Architecture designed the schematic site plan, floor plans and exterior design which were presented as a 3-D model.
The site housed on-site parking, dumpsters and water features. The site plan was phase I and the shell buildings were part of Phase II. The buildings were organized for multiple tenants. Architecture, interior design, and furniture services on this project.
A 300 square foot outdoor patio for an existing café. The patio required seating, canopies, misters, space heaters, fans and lighting as well as perimeter decorative enclosure made of stone and metal gates. The layout was designed to give the patio a Caribbean beach theme and provide guests a comfortable spa experience.
